Nationally-acclaimed artist and author, James Prosek, of Easton, Conn., will read from and sign copies of his illustrated children’s book, Bird, Butterfly, Eel, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 18 at the National Sporting Library & Fine Art Museum in Middleburg, Va. Following the presentation around 3 p.m., Prosek will be working on an original painting, which the public is invited to observe. Copies of Prosek’s children’s books and his new non-fiction book for adults, EELS: An Exploration, from New Zealand to the Sargasso, of the World’s Most Mysterious Fish, will be available for sale and for signing by the author.
