commentary

This is in response to your article on February 20 by staff writer, Skip Miller. This article goes all over the place and the facts are so far off on budgetary matters, that I won't even address them. What I want to say is that it is disgusting for a writer to demean our President the way Mr. Miller did. We are teaching our children to have disrespect for our leaders. It's time we give honor to those who are serving this nation of ours. It's time to pull together and respect the efforts of someone who has the toughest job in this country. The Bible teaches us to honor those who are holding authority. What is wrong with people who call our President, George? It shows something lacking in character for a staff writer to show this kind of disrespect. Have you ever sat down with the President? Have you considered the battle he has protecting our country? If you want the children to be given "the tools and resources they need to make a better world" then teach them to honor our leaders. Remember, your character is showing. We have a free enterprise society and our economy is a result of that. Day traders do more damage to our resources than the President ever could. Congress is in charge too. Ask them to stop the PORK. Let's hold the right people accountable. And let's give the honor back to the office of the President of the United States. Thank you!
