Man robbed and stabbed
Police are seeking information concerning the robbery and stabbing of a 52-year-old man near Brandywine Apartments in the 600 block of North East Street last Saturday night.
The man told police that he was headed home on Highview Court about 11:30 p.m. after visiting a friend where he drank some beer and watched television.
He said two black males, in their late teens or early 20’s, followed him, slashed his throat and robbed him. The robbers took his wallet containing his identification and a small amount of cash.
The victim was treated and released at the Culpeper Regional Hospital emergency room.
