Coping With Grief

Hospice of the Rapidan is offering a free 6-week Coping with Grief –Fall Support Group on Tuesdays beginning September 23rd through October 28th. Topics will include issues and concerns of people who have recently lost a family member, loved one or close friend. Many who have suffered a loss find these workshops to be a great help because of the mutual support of others in a similar situation. Knowing your loss is not unique is often a great comfort. All members of the public are welcome and no prior affiliation with Hospice of the Rapidan is necessary. The support groups will be held in Warrenton at the Warrenton Visitor Center 33 North Calhoun Street from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. Reservations are appreciated but not necessary. Reservations and additional information are available from Craig Wilt at 540-825-4840.

Hospice of the Rapidan offers a broad range of grief support services to families throughout Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, Rappahannock and surrounding counties. Many families receiving grief support have experienced the death of a family member who was not under Hospice of the Rapidan’s care, including families who did not have the opportunity to say good-bye because their loved one died suddenly. This caring service is offered free of charge.
