The BIKE STOP PRO TEAM has reached the end of its 2009 season, but not without a bang. Female off-road triathlete, Julia Peck, represented BSPT and Culpeper as part of Team USA in Maui for the 2009 XTERRA World Championships on October 25, 2009. Peck finished 6th in her division in a total time of 5:02:43 for her first World Championship competition. Moreover, Peck trekked across the country to Ogden, UT for the XTERRA National Championships where she placed 5th in her division in a time of 4:49:00. Currently, Peck is ranked 1st in her division for the XTERRA Atlantic Regional standings and 4th for the National (US) standings. Additionally, male triathlete Dave Jones took the road (on foot for a change) in the 2009 Marine Corps Marathon on the same weekend, finishing in a time of 3:07:37 which qualifies him for the 2010 Boston Marathon.
