Blue Devilettes now 4-0 in the district

After defeating Spotsylvania, 3-0, Tuesday, the Culpeper County High School volleyball team in 4-0 in the AA Battlefield District and 5-2 overall.

The Blue Devilettes won all three games, 25-20, 25-15, and 25-17.

Megan Chamberlin had 23 serving attempts for an 87 percent finish. She had 7 kills and 15 digs.

Kristen Hall had 9 serving attempts at 88 percent, 3 kills and 18 digs.

Kelly Dubell had 14 SA's for a 92.9 percentage, 3 kills, 3 assists, 11 receptions and 17 digs.

Kara Connolly had 9 SA's for 77.8 percent, 3 kills, 17 assists and 6 digs.

Freshman Taylor Young had 7 SA's for 100 percent, 4 kills and 6 digs.

Freshman Maddie Kyff had 7 SA's for an 85.7 percentage and 2 digs.

Karla Gines had 5 receptions and 4 digs.

Culpeper will travel to Carolina Thursday, Sept. 24. and hosts Eastern View Tuesday.
