2009 USA Triathlon Age-Group Nationals (Tuscaloosa, AL)/Scoreboard
Sept. 22
Female triathlete, Alex Forte, took a road-trip down to Alabama for the 2009 USAT National Championships, placing 15th in her division and finishing the 1.5k swim, 40k bike, 10k run in a total time of 2:26:35.
This qualifies her for the 2010 ITU World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Additionally, Forte made a trip around the world to the Gold Coast of Australia as a member of Team USA for the 2009 ITU World Age-Group Championships (Gold Coast, Australia) on 9/12. She finished 43rd in her division and 120th overall among the female competitors in an overall time of 2:19:02.
James Boyer, team downhill racer, currently holds 1st place in his division for the Gravity East DH Series overall title.
Female triathlete, Julia Peck, is currently in Utah competing at the XTERRA National Age-Group Championships. Look out for her results and more updates at bikestopproteam.blogspot.com.
