Mary Ann Fox

Died July 10, 2008
 

Mary Ann Sours Fox, 75, of Culpeper, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008, at her home in the early morning hours of her birthday with her family at her side. Mary Ann was born July 10, 1933, in Culpeper County, to the late Henry Elmer Sours and Maude Ellen Pullen Sours and worked for Aileen Manufacturing for more than 30 years and then later for S.W.I.F.T. Bank until her retirement.

She was married for 56 years to her husband and best friend Charles Edward Fox, Sr. of Rappahannock County, who passed away February 16, 2006. A brother, James Jacob Sours, and a sister Katie also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Fox is survived by her four children, Shirley Coffey and her husband Steve of Stanardsville, Debbie Ashbrook and her husband Wayne of Culpeper, Charles E. Fox, Jr. (Chuck) and his wife Brenda of Culpeper, and Susan Feaganes and her husband Kenny of Culpeper; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in Clore English Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, July 15, with Pastor Robert A. Fox (her grandson) conducting the service. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Eddie Myers, Willie Myers, Andrew Myers, Kenny (Bogie) Feaganes, Jr., Kelly Maley, William Kennedy,Tom Pullen and Lonnie Myers, Jr.
